What A Day To Be Alive!

Sher and I have been married for 34 years now, and yes, we are empty nesters. For years we both labored so hard to see our children grow up and become all God destined them to be. And through it all, including some mistakes along the way, they are awesome! On Wednesday, June 4th, Jordan (our number 3 son) and his wife Erica gave birth to Maddox Jordan Sweet. Maddox weighed in at 7 ls. 2 oz. and is 20 1/2 inches long. And yes, he has a full head of black hair just like his daddy did when he entered this world. We are so proud of Erica, she did a great job!

I mentioned earlier that we are empty nesters. Well that’s not always the case. With five grandchildren to our credit, the house isn’t really empty – so I guess you could say we are “sometimes empty but most of the time full nesters.” Yes, it is a GREAT DAY TO BE ALIVE because we are so rich with our family, friends and the salvation of Jesus in our lives!
